We are a wonderful one-form entry primary school with a nursery, based in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush, West London.

At Greenside, we proudly inspire, challenge and nurture our pupils through an innovative learning model rooted in food, film and fun. Our curriculum is carefully sequenced from Nursery to Year 6 so that knowledge and skills build securely over time. Each unit connects thoughtfully to prior learning, enabling every child to make progress with confidence and purpose.

Experiential learning sits at the heart of what we do. Children learn through hands-on exploration, visits, practical experiences and engagement with our vibrant local context. Our position within Shepherd’s Bush allows pupils to connect their learning to the world around them, drawing on local culture, diversity, green spaces and community stories to enrich their understanding.

We want our pupils to develop the qualities of Greenside Innovators: to be creative, curious, resilient, critical thinkers and effective collaborators. These characteristics shape our teaching and the opportunities we provide across the school. Art and creativity continue to be central to life at Greenside, and we are proud of our ongoing Artsmark Platinum recognition. Sustainability is also a key part of who we are. Greenside was named London’s Sustainable School of the Year in 2022, and our pupils remain deeply involved in environmental learning. Our school gardens flourish with home-grown fruits and vegetables used in our vegetarian school lunches, and our Greenside Micro Bakery gives pupils the chance to bake and share bread with our wider community.
