Year Groups

At Greenside, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and National Curriculum provide the foundations of our approach. Rooted in academic rigour and holistic development, our curriculum is carefully sequenced from EYFS through to Year 6.

Pupils revisit important knowledge, make connections and progressively develop increasingly sophisticated subject knowledge and skills over time. Alongside the core subjects of English, mathematics and science, our curriculum encompasses foundation subjects including history, geography, art and design, music, physical education, computing and languages. Together, these subjects nurture curiosity, creativity, cultural awareness and physical well-being, while equipping pupils with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive.
