GREENSIDE FILM FACTORY

Early Years Educator/ Worker required from November 2018 (Part/ Time – Wed, Thurs & Fri)

 

We are delighted to announce that we will have a vacancy for an EYE at Greenside for November 2018.

This vacancy is arising due to the retirement of our amazing ‘Learning Garden’ Lead EYE.

She will, however be returning part time but needs a job share partner to join her for 3 days a week!

 

Greenside is a wonderful one-form entry Primary that learns in a different way.

We have amazingly positive students who learn with passion and World Ready citizens.

Our learning is inspired by Film and we learn about, through and by making film.

 

Our EYFS provision is excellent and we are so lucky to have a beautiful Learning Garden to enhance the experiences of our Nursery & Reception students.

 

The special person we are looking for requires:

Essential:

– A passion for outdoor learning

– Part time availability

– Good or Outstanding classroom practice

– Innovative and original ideas for active learning

 

Desirable:

– Forest School trained

– Early Years Educator qualification

– Experience across Nursery and Reception

 

This role is to work with our Nursery & Reception Team mainly outside but the person would also cover PPA, teach Phonics and support with in-class teaching & learning; building on the wonderful practice we have at Greenside already.

Class Teacher required for January 2019.

We are delighted to announce that we will have a Key Stage 2 vacancy for a Class Teacher at Greenside for January 2019. This follows the return to Australia of one of most creative and talented Teachers!

We are looking for a passionate and experienced practitioner with a love of outdoor learning to continue our amazing garden work at Greenside. The successful candidate will share a class with our Deputy Head and work alongside other teachers to support, model and Team Teach.

Greenside is a wonderful one-form entry Primary that learns in a different way.

We teach both class and vertical groups with creativity at the heart of all of our Learning.

7.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)

At Greenside we believe that good food is essential for successful learning.  We believe our students should learn about where our food comes from, understanding the importance of a healthy diet for good living and how to become responsible world citizens.

We are looking for someone to who can help deliver our vision for the Greenside Food Experience.  Our food philosophy is in line with our whole school ethos and experiential learning journey. Our Lunch Supervisor will be a valued member of our staff and must be able to work closely with our catering team to deliver our vision within both the dining room and the playground. .

We are seeking to appoint a Lunch Supervisor.

Leadership Pay Scale depending on experience

Required from January 2018

Initially this will be based at Griffin School but the successful candidate will be part of the GGL Federation and work across our academies.

Griffin Primary School is looking for an inspirational Deputy Head Teacher to join our team from January 2019 following the promotion of our Interim Deputy to a permanent post.

It is an exciting time to join Griffin as we joined The Elliot Foundation (multi-academy trust) on 1st August 2017 and are now part of a newly created, three-school Federation (GGL) which brings exciting opportunities for collaboration and professional development. Staff are exceptionally well supported to help them to develop as strong practitioners and leaders at Griffin.  

We have recently implemented an exciting, new model of learning and pride ourselves on delivering a highly creative and broad curriculum (details of which can be found on our website, www.griffinprimary.org.uk).
