Are you an ambitious finance professional wanting to develop your career whilst making a REAL difference?
We are looking for a Finance Manager to join one of our federated group of primary schools to lead the financial aspect of their work.
Finance, juggling budgets and planning for the future in the education sector isn’t easy. Nor is being pulled from pillar to post and constantly rearranging priorities. However, this role provides the opportunity to work at the heart of these three academies and make a REAL difference to the financial stability and ultimately the education and life chances of the students and young people of the school communities.
You’ll be part of a larger finance and school leadership family who realise the importance of their roles and the difference they make!
Based across the three academies, the successful candidate will be either a qualified or part qualified accountant with proven experience of successfully delivering financial management responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, day to day accounting and reporting.
We can offer the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced colleagues both within the federation and at head office, providing opportunities for professional development and growth. No two working days will be the same and hard work goes alongside a sense of pride and achievement as part of the federation’s team in making the schools as successful as they can be.
If you are interested in this role please take a look at the job pack and feel free to contact us for further information or an informal discussion. Details of how to do so and how to apply are included in the pack.
The Elliot Foundation Academies Trust is committed to safeguarding children and young people. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including a Barred List and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
